Candidate Pay Rate: $75 per hour

Roles & Responsibilities

Provide compassionate care to laboring mothers and newborns in a close-knit rural setting
Triage patients and confidently manage Pitocin drips to support safe deliveries
Serve as the primary baby catcher and transition nurse during births
Collaborate with a small, dedicated team to ensure every family feels supported
Float occasionally to med-surg when needed, showcasing your versatility

Qualifications

Active RN license in Colorado or compact state
Minimum 1 year of Labor & Delivery experience
Current ALS, NRP, and AWHONN EFM certifications
Comfortable functioning independently as both LDRP nurse and baby catcher

Knowledge & Skills

Strong LDRP and triage skills
Experience with Pitocin titration
Ability to read fetal monitoring strips confidently
Adaptable to rural hospital workflows and occasional floating
