Contract Type: Travel Contract

Shift Type: Rotating 12-hour shifts, 7:00 AM - 7:00 PM or 7:00 PM - 7:00 AM, every other weekend

Hours per Week: 36

Candidate Pay Rate: $66 per hour

Roles & Responsibilities

Deliver compassionate, high-quality care to oncology and trauma patients on a 28-bed PCU/Med-Surg unit
Administer chemotherapy and manage titratable drips such as insulin and Cardizem
Monitor ventilators and perform hemodynamic assessments including CVP, A-line, and Swan-Ganz
Collaborate with an interdisciplinary team of PT/OT, case managers, and dietitians to optimize patient outcomes
Float within similar levels of care to support unit needs while maintaining excellent patient ratios
Champion hourly rounding and patient experience initiatives to ensure every individual feels respected and supported

Qualifications

Active RN license in Nebraska or compact state
BLS, ACLS, and ONS/ONCC Chemotherapy certification required
Minimum 1 year of PCU or oncology nursing experience
First-time travelers welcome
Valid driver's license to confirm 50-mile radius compliance
EPIC experience within the last 6 months preferred

Knowledge & Skills

Chemotherapy administration and oncology nursing best practices
Hemodynamic monitoring and ventilator management
Titration of drips including insulin and Cardizem
Strong teamwork and adaptability in a culturally diverse environment
Commitment to patient-centered care and respectful communication
