Location: Dickinson, North Dakota

Start Date: 06-22-2026

End Date: 09-21-2026

Contract Type: Travel Contract

Shift Type: Rotating 12-hour shifts, 7:00 AM - 7:00 PM or 7:00 PM - 7:00 AM, block scheduling with every third weekend

Hours per Week: 36

Candidate Pay Rate: $81 per hour

Roles & Responsibilities

Provide compassionate one-on-one care to laboring mothers following AWHONN guidelines
Monitor and titrate critical drips including Magnesium and Oxytocin to ensure safe deliveries
Support healthy mom-baby couplets through postpartum recovery and education
Circulate during C-sections to advocate for newborn safety and smooth transitions
Collaborate with a consistent provider team in a tight-knit rural hospital setting
Float to medical-surgical or emergency departments when needed to lend a helping hand

Qualifications

Active RN license in North Dakota or compact license
BLS, ACLS, and NRP certifications required
Minimum 2 years of Labor & Delivery experience
Comfortable working independently in a rural facility with limited NICU access

Knowledge & Skills

Strong understanding of Labor & Delivery, Postpartum, and Neonatal care
Experience with OB Trace Vue fetal monitoring system
Ability to troubleshoot neonatal CPAP, BiPAP, and high-flow equipment
Excellent communication and teamwork in a small, supportive environment
