Location: Bismarck, North Dakota

Contract Type: Travel Contract

Shift Type: Rotating 12-hour shifts, 6:00 AM - 6:30 PM and 6:00 PM - 6:30 AM

Hours per Week: 36

Candidate Pay Rate: $65 per hour

Roles & Responsibilities

Provide expert respiratory care across neonatal to geriatric patients in a Level II trauma center
Deliver specialized NICU support while collaborating closely with physicians and care teams
Manage advanced ventilators and respiratory equipment including Airvo, PB 840, PB 980, Hamilton C1, and V-60
Cover all facility areas including ICU, surgical, medical, cardiac, and emergency services
Make independent clinical judgments that directly impact patient outcomes
Build meaningful relationships with a respected and friendly multidisciplinary team

Qualifications

Current RRT or CRT credential required
BLS, ACLS, and NRP certifications
Active North Dakota state respiratory therapy license
Proven NICU experience essential
Ability to work independently and exercise sound clinical judgment

Knowledge & Skills

Strong ventilator management across multiple platforms
Neonatal through geriatric patient expertise
Excellent communication and collaboration skills
Comfort working across all hospital departments
Independent decision-making and clinical reasoning
