Roles & Responsibilities

Provide compassionate, patient-centered nursing care on assigned 8-hour shifts
Administer medications and treatments accurately and safely per provider orders
Monitor, record and communicate patient vital signs and clinical changes
Collaborate with RNs and the interdisciplinary care team to coordinate care
Assist patients with activities of daily living and comfort measures
Maintain thorough, timely documentation in the medical record
Follow infection control and safety protocols to protect patients and staff
Communicate clearly and empathetically with patients and families

Qualifications

Active LPN license in Pennsylvania (required)
Graduate of an accredited Practical Nursing program
Current BLS/CPR certification or ability to obtain upon hire
Comfortable working in fast-paced clinical settings with attention to detail
Strong communication skills and a team-oriented attitude

Education

Diploma or certificate from an accredited LPN/LVN program

Knowledge & Skills

Solid medication administration and basic nursing care skills
Ability to perform accurate patient assessments and recognize changes
Familiarity with electronic medical records and documentation best practices
Good time management and prioritization in busy clinical environments
Professional bedside manner and strong patient advocacy
