Roles & Responsibilities

Provide compassionate direct patient care including bathing, dressing, and toileting assistance
Assist nursing staff with vital signs, ADLs, and basic clinical observations
Safely transport patients and assist with mobility needs
Maintain a clean, safe patient environment and report changes promptly
Document care activities accurately and communicate effectively with the care team
Support patient dignity and comfort while fostering a positive patient experience

Qualifications

Active CNA certification (required); must meet state of Georgia requirements
Ability to work 12.5-hour per diem shifts and be flexible with scheduled assignments
Current Basic Life Support (BLS) preferred or willingness to obtain if required
Strong communication skills and a team-oriented attitude
Reliable, professional, and patient-focused with attention to detail

Education

High school diploma or GED preferred
Completed and current CNA training program and certification

Knowledge & Skills

Foundational nursing assistant skills and safe patient-handling techniques
Basic vital sign measurement and documentation
Infection control and standard precautions knowledge
Ability to follow direction from RNs and LPNs and escalate concerns appropriately
Time management and prioritization in a fast-paced clinical environment
