Roles & Responsibilities

• Provide compassionate, patient-centered nursing care consistent with LPN scope of practice
• Administer medications and document treatments accurately and timely
• Perform routine assessments and report changes in patient condition to the care team
• Assist the interdisciplinary team with care planning and patient needs
• Maintain clean, safe patient environments and follow infection control protocols
• Accurately complete documentation, charting, and handoffs to ensure continuity of care

Qualifications

• Active LPN license (Licensed Practical Nurse) — eligible to practice in Georgia
• Current Basic Life Support (BLS) certification or willingness to obtain upon hire
• Demonstrated clinical skills in medication administration, patient assessment, and documentation
• Strong communication skills and the ability to collaborate with nurses, providers, and support staff
• Ability to work 12.5-hour shifts and fulfill assigned schedule commitments

Education

• Graduate of an accredited practical nursing program (LPN)
• High school diploma or GED

Knowledge & Skills

• Foundational nursing knowledge for adult patient care and bedside documentation
• Medication administration and safe handling practices
• Basic wound care and dressing change familiarity
• Ability to use electronic health records for charting and order acknowledgement
• Patient safety, infection control, and adherence to facility protocols
