Roles & Responsibilities

Provide compassionate, hands-on care to residents with dignity and respect
Assist with activities of daily living including bathing, dressing, and mobility support
Take and record vital signs accurately and report changes in condition
Maintain clear, timely documentation in resident charts and care plans
Support safe transfers and use proper body mechanics to protect residents and staff
Collaborate with nurses and interdisciplinary team to deliver person-centered care

Qualifications

Current CNA certification in good standing (required)
Active Pennsylvania CNA registration or eligibility to register
Basic Life Support (BLS/CPR) certification preferred or willingness to obtain
Comfortable with direct resident care, safe lifting, and physical demands of the role
Clear background check and ability to meet facility onboarding requirements
Strong communication skills and a team-first attitude

Education

High school diploma or GED preferred; CNA certification required

Knowledge & Skills

Knowledge of basic nursing assistant duties and infection control practices
Skill in taking and recording vital signs and observing resident status
Ability to follow care plans and document accurately
Good interpersonal skills for working with residents and families
Time management and prioritization in a fast-paced care environment
