Roles & Responsibilities

• Provide compassionate, high-quality emergency nursing care to patients of all ages
• Perform rapid assessment, triage, and stabilization of emergency cases
• Administer medications, treatments, and interventions per protocols and physician orders
• Collaborate closely with physicians, techs, and support staff to coordinate efficient patient flow
• Document patient care clearly and accurately in the facility electronic health record
• Educate patients and families about diagnoses, treatments, and follow-up plans
• Participate in quality improvement initiatives to enhance patient safety and outcomes

Qualifications

• Active Registered Nurse (RN) license valid in New Hampshire
• Current BLS (Basic Life Support) certification required; ACLS preferred
• Experience or strong interest in Emergency Department nursing (ED/ER)
• Comfort with high-acuity patients, rapid decision-making, and teamwork
• Ability to provide professional, patient-centered care in a fast-paced environment

Education

• Graduate of an accredited nursing program (ADN or BSN)

Knowledge & Skills

• Emergency assessment, triage, and rapid intervention skills
• Strong clinical judgment and ability to prioritize under pressure
• Effective communication with patients, families, and multidisciplinary teams
• Familiarity with electronic health records and accurate clinical documentation
• Knowledge of ED protocols, medication administration, and trauma basics
