Candidate Pay Rate: $44 per hour

Roles & Responsibilities

Deliver high-quality respiratory care and treatments with compassion
Operate and monitor ventilators and respiratory equipment safely
Assess patient respiratory status and respond to changes promptly
Collaborate with nursing and multidisciplinary teams to optimize patient outcomes
Educate patients and families on respiratory care plans and device use
Document treatments, observations, and patient progress accurately

Qualifications

Current Respiratory Therapist credential (RRT or CRT) or eligible
State licensure in Missouri or eligibility to obtain licensure
Basic Life Support (BLS) required; ACLS or PALS as applicable/preferred
Comfortable with hospital respiratory equipment and monitoring
Professional communication skills and ability to work in a team-focused environment

Education

Associate's degree in Respiratory Therapy or completion of an accredited respiratory therapy program

Knowledge & Skills

Ventilator management and troubleshooting
Arterial blood gas (ABG) interpretation
Airway management techniques and oxygen therapy
Patient assessment and respiratory care planning
Electronic medical record documentation and charting
