Roles & Responsibilities

Provide compassionate, high-quality nursing care on Med/Surg units with pediatric focus
Assess patients, monitor conditions, and communicate changes to the care team
Administer medications and treatments safely and accurately
Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams to develop and implement care plans
Document patient care thoroughly and maintain accurate clinical records
Support families with education and clear communication during hospitalization

Qualifications

Registered Nurse (RN) — position open for Med/Surg with Pediatrics specialization
Experience or comfort working with Med/Surg and pediatric patients (per core skills)
Ability to attend required orientation as noted in the posting
Available to work the scheduled shifts associated with the opening (posting notes a 4-hour shift length)

Knowledge & Skills

Strong Med/Surg clinical knowledge with pediatric care familiarity
Patient assessment and monitoring skills
Clinical documentation and charting proficiency
Effective communication and teamwork in fast-paced clinical settings
Prioritization and time management for short-shift workflows
