Roles & Responsibilities

Provide compassionate direct patient care and assist with activities of daily living
Monitor and record vital signs, reporting any changes to the care team
Assist nursing staff with safe transfers, ambulation, and positioning
Maintain a clean, safe, and respectful environment for residents
Communicate clearly with patients, families, and interdisciplinary team members
Support infection control practices and adhere to facility protocols
Document care accurately and timely in resident charts

Qualifications

Current CNA certification in Pennsylvania or eligibility to obtain one
Completion of an accredited CNA training program
Current CPR/BLS certification preferred or willingness to obtain
Excellent communication skills and a team-oriented attitude
Compassionate bedside manner and ability to handle physical demands of the role
Previous experience in long-term care or skilled nursing is a plus

Education

High school diploma or GED
Completion of an accredited CNA program

Knowledge & Skills

Proficient in basic nursing assistant duties and resident care
Ability to take and record vital signs accurately
Familiarity with infection control and safety practices
Strong interpersonal skills and the ability to work within a care team
Basic documentation and charting skills (electronic or paper)
