Roles & Responsibilities

Provide compassionate, hands-on care to residents and patients
Assist with activities of daily living such as bathing, dressing, and feeding
Monitor and document patients' vital signs and report changes
Support nursing staff with care plans and timely communication
Maintain a safe, clean environment and follow infection control protocols
Build trusting relationships with patients and their families

Qualifications

Current CNA certification valid in Pennsylvania
CPR/BLS certification (or willingness to obtain upon hire)
Comfortable assisting with personal care and mobility
Strong communication and teamwork skills
Reliable, punctual, and committed to patient-centered care
Previous experience in long-term care or similar setting preferred

Education

High school diploma or GED preferred
State-approved CNA training program completion and certification

Knowledge & Skills

Knowledge of basic patient care techniques and infection control
Ability to take and record vital signs accurately
Familiarity with documentation and care charting
Compassionate bedside manner and strong interpersonal skills
Ability to follow care plans and escalate concerns appropriately
Time management skills to support multiple patients safely
