Roles & Responsibilities

Provide compassionate hands-on care to patients, assisting with activities of daily living
Monitor and document patient status including vitals and comfort levels
Collaborate with nursing and ancillary staff to support individualized care plans
Maintain a safe, clean, and dignified environment for residents and patients
Communicate clearly with patients and families to ensure needs are met
Participate in orientation and training to maintain high-quality care standards
Report changes in patient condition promptly to the clinical team

Qualifications

Current CNA certification (Certified Nursing Assistant) — Georgia certification preferred
Willingness to complete a 5.5-hour orientation session
Strong communication and teamwork skills
Ability to pass required background checks and facility onboarding
CPR/BLS certification preferred or willing to obtain

Education

High school diploma or GED preferred
Completion of an accredited CNA training program and active CNA certification

Knowledge & Skills

Proficient in basic patient care: bathing, feeding, toileting, and mobility assistance
Comfortable taking and recording vital signs accurately
Familiarity with infection control and safe patient handling
Good observational skills and ability to report clinical changes
Compassionate bedside manner and effective communication with patients and team members
