Roles & Responsibilities

• Provide direct, compassionate nursing care to assigned patients following plan of care
• Administer medications and treatments safely and timely
• Perform routine assessments and monitor patient status, reporting changes promptly
• Document care accurately and completely in the patient record
• Collaborate with nurses, providers, and support staff to coordinate excellent care
• Support patient and family education with clear, empathetic communication
• Adhere to infection control, safety policies, and facility procedures to protect patients and staff

Qualifications

• Current Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN) credential in good standing
• Completion of an accredited LPN/Vocational nursing program
• Basic Life Support (BLS) / CPR certification (or obtain shortly after hire)
• Comfort and ability to work 12.5-hour clinical shifts
• Strong communication skills and a team-oriented mindset
• Prior LPN experience in an acute care or long-term care setting preferred

Education

• Graduate of an accredited LPN/Vocational Nursing program; high school diploma or equivalent required

Knowledge & Skills

• Fundamental nursing assessments and bedside care
• Medication administration and basic wound care
• Charting in electronic medical records (EMR) and accurate documentation
• Time management and prioritization during longer shift blocks
• Ability to work collaboratively within an interdisciplinary team
• Patient/family education and compassionate bedside manner
