Roles & Responsibilities

Provide high-quality, patient-centered nursing care on the Med/Surg unit
Assess, plan, implement and evaluate patient care in collaboration with the interdisciplinary team
Administer medications and treatments safely and accurately
Monitor and document patient status, responding promptly to changes
Educate patients and families about conditions, care plans and discharge instructions
Coordinate patient transitions and ensure continuity of care

Qualifications

Current, unrestricted RN license (ability to practice in New Hampshire required)
Med/Surg experience and comfort managing a diverse adult patient population
Basic Life Support (BLS) certification required; ACLS and other specialty certifications a plus
Strong clinical judgement, solid assessment skills, and excellent communication
Ability to work 12.5-hour shifts and to collaborate effectively with teammates

Education

Associate Degree in Nursing (ADN) or Bachelor of Science in Nursing (BSN) preferred

Knowledge & Skills

Proficiency in Med/Surg nursing practices and standards
Familiarity with electronic health record documentation
Skilled in medication administration and patient assessment
Ability to prioritize, multitask and remain calm under pressure
Strong interpersonal skills and patient/family education ability
