Contract Type: Per-Diem
Shift Type: 8-hour shift (total hours: 8, exact start/end times and days to be confirmed with hiring team)
Hours per Week: 40
Candidate Pay Rate: $20 per hour

Roles & Responsibilities
- Provide compassionate personal care and assistance with activities of daily living
- Assist patients with bathing, dressing, grooming and toileting needs
- Take and record vital signs and report any changes to the nursing team
- Help with safe patient transfers and mobility, using proper body mechanics
- Maintain a clean, safe and comfortable environment for residents
- Document care accurately and communicate effectively with the interdisciplinary team
- Support admission, discharge and routine care processes with professionalism
- Build meaningful relationships with patients and families to enhance their experience
Qualifications
- Current CNA certification valid in Pennsylvania
- Completion of a state-approved CNA program
- CPR/BLS certification preferred or willingness to obtain upon hire
- High school diploma or GED
- Background check and health screenings required as part of onboarding
- Previous experience in long term care or skilled nursing is a plus but new grads are welcome
Education
- High school diploma or GED
- Completion of an approved CNA training program
Knowledge & Skills
- Strong patient care and bedside skills
- Comfortable assisting with ADLs and mobility support
- Basic vital signs measurement and documentation
- Good communication and teamwork skills
- Understanding of infection control and safety procedures
- Ability to follow care plans and instructions from licensed nurses
