Roles & Responsibilities

• Provide compassionate, hands-on care to residents and patients, assisting with activities of daily living
• Assist with bathing, dressing, grooming and toileting while maintaining dignity and respect
• Take and record vital signs accurately and report any changes to nursing staff
• Support safe patient transfers and mobility, using proper body mechanics and equipment
• Communicate clearly and kindly with patients, families, and the interdisciplinary team
• Maintain clean, safe environments by following infection control policies and facility procedures

Qualifications

• Current, active CNA certification valid in Pennsylvania (required)
• Comfortable with hands-on patient care and physical requirements of the role
• Ability to pass required background check and drug screening per facility policy
• Basic life support (BLS/CPR) certification preferred or willing to obtain
• Strong communication skills and a team-oriented mindset

Education

• High school diploma or GED preferred; CNA certification required

Knowledge & Skills

• Patient care fundamentals and activities of daily living (ADLs)
• Basic vital signs measurement and documentation
• Infection prevention and hand hygiene practices
• Safe transfer and positioning techniques
• Good interpersonal skills and the ability to work collaboratively
