Contract Type: Per-Diem

Hours per Week: 40

Candidate Pay Rate: $20 per hour

Roles & Responsibilities

Provide compassionate direct patient care including assisting with activities of daily living
Take and record vital signs and report changes to the nursing team promptly
Assist with safe patient transfers and mobility to promote comfort and independence
Maintain a clean, safe environment and follow infection control procedures
Document patient care accurately and communicate effectively with the care team
Support patients emotionally and respectfully, treating each person with dignity

Qualifications

Current CNA certification (state-appropriate) — must be active and in good standing
CPR/BLS certification preferred or willingness to obtain upon hire
Ability to pass required background checks and drug screening
Up-to-date immunizations/TB testing as required by facility policy
Strong communication skills and a patient-centered attitude

Education

High school diploma or GED preferred
Completed state-approved CNA training program and certification

Knowledge & Skills

Hands-on patient care and ADL assistance
Basic vital signs measurement and documentation
Infection control and safety best practices
Team collaboration and clear communication with nurses and staff
Ability to learn facility protocols and electronic charting systems
