Roles & Responsibilities

Provide compassionate direct patient care and assistance with activities of daily living
Take and record vital signs accurately and communicate changes to the nursing team
Assist with safe patient transfers, mobility and positioning
Maintain patient dignity and privacy while supporting hygiene and nutritional needs
Document care thoroughly and timely in the patient record
Collaborate with nurses and interdisciplinary staff to promote a safe, healing environment
Support infection control practices and facility policies to keep everyone safe

Qualifications

Active Certified Nursing Assistant (CNA) credential in Pennsylvania, current and in good standing
Completion of a state-approved CNA program
Current CPR/BLS certification (or willingness to obtain)
Clear background check and required health immunizations
Reliable, patient-focused, with strong communication and teamwork skills
Preferred: 1+ year of hands-on CNA experience (but new CNAs are encouraged to apply)

Education

High school diploma or equivalent
Successful completion of a state-approved CNA training program

Knowledge & Skills

Strong knowledge of patient safety and infection control principles
Comfortable assisting with ADLs and basic patient care tasks
Ability to accurately take and report vital signs and observations
Good documentation habits and basic charting skills
Effective communication with patients, families and clinical team members
Dependability, attention to detail and a calm demeanor under pressure
