Roles & Responsibilities

Greet and prepare patients for their visit, creating a welcoming experience
Measure and record vital signs accurately and efficiently
Assist clinicians during exams and minor procedures
Collect specimens and perform basic point-of-care testing as directed
Document patient information and visit details in the electronic medical record
Maintain clean, organized exam rooms and ensure supplies are stocked
Support orientation activities and help onboard new staff when needed

Qualifications

High school diploma or GED required
Medical Assistant certificate or diploma preferred
Basic life support or CPR certification preferred
Strong communication and patient-service skills
Comfortable with EMR documentation and basic clinical tasks
Ability to work reliably during scheduled 4-hour shifts

Education

High school diploma or GED
Medical Assistant certificate or diploma preferred

Knowledge & Skills

Proficiency with electronic medical records and basic computer skills
Accurate measurement and documentation of vital signs
Familiarity with specimen collection and point-of-care testing
Patient-centered communication and customer service
Working knowledge of HIPAA and patient confidentiality standards
Teamwork, adaptability and attention to detail in a clinical setting
