Roles & Responsibilities

• Provide compassionate direct care to residents, supporting dignity and comfort
• Assist with activities of daily living such as bathing, dressing, and mobility
• Monitor and document patient status, reporting changes to the nursing team
• Take and record vital signs and assist with basic clinical tasks as directed
• Communicate clearly and kindly with residents, families, and colleagues
• Maintain a clean, safe environment and follow infection control procedures
• Participate in care plan implementation and team huddles to improve outcomes

Qualifications

• Active CNA certification (Certified Nursing Assistant) — Pennsylvania preferred or eligible for reciprocity
• Current basic life support (BLS) / CPR certification preferred or willing to obtain
• Compassionate, patient-centered approach with strong communication skills
• Ability to stand, lift, and assist patients safely throughout a shift
• Reliable, punctual, and committed to teamwork and quality care

Education

• High school diploma or equivalent
• Completion of an accredited CNA training program and certification

Knowledge & Skills

• Strong knowledge of basic patient care and bathing, feeding, and mobility assistance
• Comfortable with charting and basic documentation practices
• Familiarity with infection control and safety procedures
• Ability to observe, identify, and report changes in resident condition
• Good interpersonal skills and teamwork-oriented mindset
