Roles & Responsibilities

Provide compassionate, hands-on care to residents with dignity and respect
Assist with activities of daily living — bathing, dressing, feeding and mobility support
Monitor and report changes in patient condition to the nursing team promptly
Help maintain a clean, safe and comfortable environment for residents
Build trusting relationships with residents and their families through excellent communication

Qualifications

Active CNA certification in Pennsylvania (required)
Current BLS/CPR certification or willingness to obtain
Up-to-date immunizations and TB testing per facility policy
Ability to pass required background checks and employment screenings
Compassionate attitude, strong communication skills, and teamwork mindset
Previous long-term care or skilled nursing experience preferred but not required

Education

High school diploma or GED preferred
Completed state-approved CNA training program and certification

Knowledge & Skills

Patient care fundamentals and safe transfer techniques
Basic vital signs measurement and documentation
Infection control practices and PPE usage
Effective communication with patients, families, and clinical teams
Time management and prioritization in a fast-paced setting
