Roles & Responsibilities

• Provide compassionate, patient-centered nursing care consistent with facility standards
• Assess and monitor patient condition, intervening and escalating when needed
• Administer medications and treatments safely and accurately
• Document patient care, assessments, and interventions clearly in the medical record
• Collaborate with the multidisciplinary team to coordinate care plans
• Educate patients and families about diagnoses, treatment plans, and discharge instructions
• Maintain a safe environment and adhere to infection control and regulatory policies

Qualifications

• Current Registered Nurse (RN) license for Pennsylvania or eligibility to obtain one
• Basic Life Support (BLS) certification required; advanced certifications (ACLS, PALS) a plus
• Previous acute care or relevant clinical experience preferred
• Strong clinical assessment and critical thinking skills
• Ability to adapt quickly to changing assignments and workflows

Education

• Associate Degree in Nursing (ADN) or Bachelor of Science in Nursing (BSN) preferred

Knowledge & Skills

• Patient assessment and monitoring
• Medication administration and IV therapy knowledge
• Familiarity with electronic health record (EHR) documentation
• Clear communication and teamwork skills
• Time management and prioritization in fast-paced environments
• Basic knowledge of infection control and safety protocols
