Roles & Responsibilities

• Provide compassionate direct patient care including bathing, dressing and mobility assistance
• Assist nursing staff with vital signs, feeding and basic clinical observations
• Support patient comfort and dignity through thoughtful, respectful interactions
• Document care activities accurately and communicate changes to the RN/LPN
• Maintain a safe, clean environment and assist with infection control practices
• Help with patient transfers and positioning while following proper body mechanics

Qualifications

• Current CNA certification (state of Pennsylvania preferred)
• Prior experience as a CNA or similar patient care role is a plus
• Ability to pass required background checks and health screenings
• Up-to-date immunizations and TB screening as required by facility
• Strong communication skills and a team-oriented attitude
• Reliable, punctual, and committed to providing high-quality patient care

Education

• High school diploma or GED (preferred)
• Current Certified Nursing Assistant (CNA) credential

Knowledge & Skills

• Basic patient care techniques and activities of daily living (ADLs)
• Familiarity with vital sign measurement and documentation
• Understanding of infection prevention and standard precautions
• Good interpersonal skills for working with patients, families and staff
• Ability to follow care plans and report changes to the nursing team
• Dependable time management and the ability to prioritize patient needs
