Contract Type: Per-Diem

Shift Type: 4-hour shift, exact days and start/end times to be confirmed (orientation required)

Candidate Pay Rate: $25 per hour

Roles & Responsibilities

Greet patients and create a welcoming, patient-centered experience
Take and record vital signs accurately and consistently
Assist providers with exams, procedures, and clinical tasks
Perform point-of-care testing and basic specimen collection with attention to detail
Document patient encounters in the electronic health record in a timely manner
Help maintain a clean, safe, and organized clinical environment

Qualifications

High school diploma or equivalent
Medical Assistant certificate or diploma preferred
Basic Life Support (BLS) certification preferred or willingness to obtain
Previous clinical or patient-facing experience is a plus
Strong interpersonal and communication skills with a patient-first attitude
Ability to pass standard pre-employment checks as required

Education

High school diploma or equivalent
Medical Assistant certificate or diploma preferred

Knowledge & Skills

Comfortable taking vitals and assisting with clinical exams
Familiarity with electronic health record systems and clinical documentation
Basic phlebotomy and point-of-care testing knowledge
Understanding of infection control and HIPAA privacy practices
Good organizational skills and the ability to multitask in a clinic setting
Professional, compassionate patient communication
