Roles & Responsibilities
- Provide compassionate, hands-on nursing care to residents and patients
- Administer medications and treatments safely and accurately per orders
- Monitor and record vital signs and patient status, escalating concerns promptly
- Collaborate with nurses, CNAs, and interdisciplinary team members to deliver coordinated care
- Document patient care clearly and timely in the electronic health record
- Assist with admissions, discharges, and transfers to ensure smooth transitions
- Maintain infection control practices and a safe, clean environment for patients
Qualifications
- Current Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN) license in Pennsylvania
- Basic Life Support (BLS/CPR) certification (current)
- Comfortable administering medications and performing routine nursing procedures
- Strong communication and teamwork skills with a patient-first mindset
- Ability to pass required background checks and health screenings
Education
- Practical Nursing diploma, certificate, or equivalent LPN training program completion
Knowledge & Skills
- Solid fundamentals in patient assessment and basic nursing care
- Medication administration and documentation best practices
- Familiarity with electronic health record (EHR) documentation
- Infection control and safety protocols
- Time management and prioritization in a fast-paced clinical setting
- Compassionate patient and family communication skills
