Roles & Responsibilities

Provide direct, compassionate patient care and daily assessments
Administer medications and treatments safely and accurately
Monitor and document patient status, vital signs, and changes in condition
Collaborate with nurses, providers, and support staff to coordinate care
Educate patients and families on care plans and discharge instructions
Support transitions of care and communicate clearly during handoffs
Maintain accurate charting and compliance with facility policies
Promote infection control and patient safety in every interaction

Qualifications

Active LPN license (required) — must be valid in Georgia
Current BLS/CPR certification (or willingness to obtain)
Completion of an accredited LPN training program
Ability to pass background check and drug screen per facility policy
Strong clinical judgment, communication skills, and teamwork mindset

Education

Graduation from an accredited LPN/Vocational Nursing program
Active LPN licensure in Georgia

Knowledge & Skills

Fundamental nursing assessments and patient monitoring
Medication administration and documentation best practices
Basic wound care and infection prevention
Proficient charting and electronic medical record (EMR) use
Time management, prioritization, and teamwork
Clear patient/family communication and education skills
