Contract Type: Travel Contract

Shift Type: Rotating 12-hour shifts, 3:00 PM - 3:00 AM, schedules released 4-6 weeks in advance

Hours per Week: 36

Candidate Pay Rate: $64 per hour

Roles & Responsibilities

Provide compassionate care across multiple specialties including Cardiac, Neuro, Oncology, Rehab, Renal, Bariatrics, Ortho, Trauma, and ED Observation
Float throughout Zone 1 facilities within a 60-mile radius, adapting quickly to new units and patient populations
Manage a 1:5-6 nurse-to-patient ratio based on acuity, ensuring safe and attentive care
Titrate Heparin drips and monitor patients with complex needs from adult to geriatric populations
Collaborate with designated Charge Nurses and supportive nursing assistants to deliver excellent outcomes

Qualifications

Active RN license in Colorado or compact license
BLS, ACLS, and NIHSS certifications required
Minimum 2 years of MS-Tele experience
Neuro experience preferred
Ability to float within a 60-mile zone and adapt to various units and schedules

Knowledge & Skills

Strong assessment and critical thinking skills across telemetry and medical-surgical units
Comfortable floating to Cardiac, Neuro, Oncology, Rehab, Renal, Bariatrics, Ortho, Trauma, and ED Observation
Experience with Heparin titration and managing diverse adult-geriatric patient populations
Flexible and reliable with scheduling, including weekends and potential holiday rotations
