Location: St Johnsbury, Vermont

Start Date: 06-09-2026

Contract Type: Travel Contract

Shift Type: Nights, three 12-hour shifts per week, 7:00 PM - 7:00 AM. Must be able to cover mid-shifts as needed

Hours per Week: 36

Candidate Pay Rate: $60 per hour

Roles & Responsibilities

Provide direct, compassionate care to patients in a fast-paced rural Emergency Department
Evaluate patient outcomes and adjust nursing care plans to ensure optimal results
Collaborate with physicians and specialists to coordinate comprehensive medical and nursing management
Respond quickly and effectively under pressure while maintaining high standards of care
Learn and adapt to new systems and processes in a growing, expanding department

Qualifications

Current VT or compact multi-state RN License
Minimum 3 years of Emergency Room RN experience
BLS, ACLS, and PALS certifications required
TNCC preferred
Familiarity with Meditech or ability to learn quickly

Knowledge & Skills

Emergency Room Nursing expertise
Strong patient care and assessment skills
Effective team collaboration in high-volume settings
Quick learning and adaptability in rural critical access environments
