Contract Type: Travel Contract

Shift Type: Rotating shifts including weekends

Candidate Pay Rate: $60 per hour

Roles & Responsibilities

Deliver safe, compassionate patient care using the full nursing process
Assess, plan, implement, and evaluate individualized care plans
Provide direct patient care within your RN scope of practice
Guide patient and family education while supporting fellow nursing staff
Respond swiftly and accurately to changes in patient condition
Communicate effectively with physicians about diagnostic results and symptoms
Uphold EMTALA regulations and report concerns to appropriate agencies
Protect patient privacy and maintain confidentiality at all times

Qualifications

Current and valid state RN License
BLS, ACLS, and PALS certifications (AHA or Red Cross)
Behavioral Violence Prevention (BVP) certificate
Minimum one year of acute care RN experience, ER setting preferred
NIHSS certification preferred
COVID-19 vaccination preferred

Knowledge & Skills

Strong assessment and critical thinking abilities
Telemetry monitoring expertise
Knowledge of EMTALA regulations
Ability to respond quickly to emergencies
Excellent communication and teamwork skills
