Roles & Responsibilities

• Assist the dentist during a variety of treatment procedures
• Prepare and sterilize instruments and equipment
• Take and record patient medical histories and vital signs
• Provide patients with instructions for oral care after surgery or procedures
• Manage infection control and maintain a clean work environment
• Help patients feel comfortable before, during, and after dental treatment

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent required
• Certified Dental Assistant (CDA) preferred
• Current CPR certification
• X-ray certification or willingness to obtain
• Excellent interpersonal and communication skills
• Attention to detail and ability to multitask

Knowledge & Skills

• Knowledge of dental instruments and sterilization methods
• Proficiency in dental software and patient scheduling
• Strong organizational skills
• Ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced environment
