Roles & Responsibilities

• Perform dental cleanings and periodontal therapy to promote oral health
• Educate patients on proper oral hygiene techniques
• Take and develop dental X-rays for diagnostic purposes
• Assist dentists with procedures and patient care
• Document patient care and treatment plans accurately

Qualifications

• Active dental hygiene license in Virginia required
• Current CPR certification
• At least 1 year of experience preferred
• Excellent communication and patient care skills

Knowledge & Skills

• Knowledge of dental instruments and sterilization techniques
• Proficiency in patient education and preventive care
• Attention to detail and ability to work efficiently
• Comfortable using electronic health records
