Contract Type: Travel Contract

Shift Type: Monday-Friday, mid-shift

Hours per Week: 40

Candidate Pay Rate: $95 per hour

Roles & Responsibilities

Provide radiographic examinations of all body parts for diagnostic interpretation
Exercise professional judgment while applying radiation protection principles
Perform diagnostic medical radiography throughout the department and other areas
Maintain accurate patient records and files
Lead departmental quality assurance initiatives
Pursue continuing education opportunities
Transfer patients safely to and from radiology
Rotate shifts as required and take call within 20 minutes
Perform ancillary duties as requested by supervisor

Qualifications

Current ARRT certification in Radiography and CT required
Minimum 1 year of experience in CT and XR
High School Diploma or GED plus completion of a CT/XR training program
BLS/BCLS certification required
Ability to demonstrate knowledge of growth and development across the lifespan
Willingness to work with patients of all cultural and religious backgrounds

Education

High School Diploma or GED
Completion of a CT/XR training program

Knowledge & Skills

Radiography and CT imaging expertise
Strong patient care and assessment skills
Knowledge of radiation protection principles
Ability to work well under stress
Excellent customer service mindset
Commitment to quality assurance and continuing education
