Roles & Responsibilities

• Assist dentists during examinations and procedures, ensuring patient comfort and safety
• Prepare and sterilize treatment rooms and instruments for each patient
• Take and develop dental radiographs (X-rays) as directed
• Educate patients on oral hygiene and post-operative care instructions
• Manage patient records and appointment scheduling with accuracy
• Maintain inventory of dental supplies and order as needed

Qualifications

• Certified Dental Assistant (CDA) preferred
• Valid X-ray certification required
• Minimum 1 year of experience in a dental office setting
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
• Ability to multitask in a fast-paced environment

Knowledge & Skills

• Knowledge of dental terminology, procedures, and instruments
• Proficiency in dental software (e.g., Dentrix, Eaglesoft) and scheduling systems
• Strong organizational skills and attention to detail
• Infection control and sterilization best practices
• Ability to work effectively as part of a dental team
