Roles & Responsibilities

• Perform thorough dental cleanings and scaling to promote oral health
• Assist dentists during procedures and ensure patient comfort
• Educate patients on proper oral hygiene techniques
• Take and develop dental x-rays as needed
• Maintain accurate patient records and infection control standards

Qualifications

• Active Dental Hygienist license in Virginia
• Current CPR/BLS certification
• Excellent communication and patient care skills
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team

Knowledge & Skills

• Proficient in dental hygiene procedures and equipment
• Strong interpersonal skills to build patient rapport
• Detail-oriented with focus on infection control
• Time management skills to handle patient flow efficiently
