Location: Centennial, Colorado

Contract Type: Travel Contract

Shift Type: Rotating 12-hour shifts, 7:00 AM - 7:00 PM or 7:00 PM - 7:00 AM, schedules released 4-6 weeks in advance

Hours per Week: 36

Candidate Pay Rate: $64 per hour

Roles & Responsibilities

Provide compassionate, high-quality care to adult and geriatric patients across multiple specialties
Float throughout Zone 1 facilities to support various units including Cardiac, Neuro, Oncology, Rehab, Renal, Ortho, and Trauma
Monitor and manage patients on Heparin drips while maintaining safe nurse-to-patient ratios of 1:5-6
Collaborate with designated charge nurses and interdisciplinary teams to deliver exceptional patient outcomes
Adapt quickly to new units and patient populations while upholding the highest standards of care

Qualifications

Active RN license in Colorado or compact license
BLS, ACLS, and NIHSS certifications required
Minimum 2 years of MS-Tele experience
Neuro experience preferred
Ability to float within a 60-mile radius and work flexible schedules

Knowledge & Skills

Strong assessment and critical thinking skills across cardiac, neuro, and post-surgical patient populations
Comfortable floating between MS-Tele, PCU/Stepdown, and low-acuity ICU holds
Proficient with vents, CPAP, BiPAP, and other respiratory equipment
Excellent communication and adaptability in dynamic float pool environments
