Contract Type: Contract

Shift Type: Monday-Friday, 6:30 AM - 3:00 PM + Call evenings and weekends. On call one evening a week (3:00 PM to 7:00 AM) and 2 Saturdays or Sundays a month (7:00 AM to 7:00 AM)

Hours per Week: 40

Candidate Pay Rate: $67 per hour

Roles & Responsibilities

Circulate a wide range of surgical cases including CABGs, craniotomies, and robotic procedures
Collaborate with surgeons and the OR team to deliver safe, high-quality patient care
Float between Bryan and College Station campuses as needed to support patient flow
Precept new staff and share your expertise when the unit needs extra support
Respond to call coverage with a 30-minute response time for after-hours emergencies

Qualifications

Active RN license in Texas
Minimum 4-5 years of hospital operating room experience
Proven ability to circulate CABGs and craniotomies
Robotics experience with both Mako and DaVinci systems
Willingness to take call one evening per week and two weekends per month

Knowledge & Skills

Strong circulating skills across multiple specialties
Comfort with robotic-assisted procedures
Ability to handle trauma, ortho, neuro, and general surgery cases
Excellent communication and teamwork in a fast-paced environment
