Location: Centennial, Colorado

End Date: 10-05-2026

Contract Type: Travel Contract

Shift Type: Rotating 12-hour shifts, 7:00 AM - 7:00 PM or 7:00 PM - 7:00 AM, schedules released 4-6 weeks in advance

Hours per Week: 36

Candidate Pay Rate: $64 per hour

Roles & Responsibilities

Provide compassionate care across multiple PCU/IMC specialties including cardiac, neuro, oncology, and trauma
Manage and titrate cardiac drips, insulin, heparin, and other medications with precision and care
Float within Zone 1 facilities to support patients across a 60-mile radius, adapting quickly to new units
Collaborate with charge nurses and interdisciplinary teams to deliver safe, high-quality patient care
Monitor adult and geriatric patients with diverse diagnoses, ensuring comfort and recovery
Support patients through post-surgical recovery, detox, and long-term placement needs

Qualifications

Active RN license in Colorado or compact license
BLS, ACLS, and NIHSS certifications required
Minimum 2 years of PCU/IMC experience
Comfortable managing and titrating cardiac drips, insulin, and ativan
Prior neuro experience and Epic charting preferred

Knowledge & Skills

Strong cardiac drip management and titration skills
Ability to float across multiple specialties and facilities
Experience with Epic electronic health records
Excellent communication and adaptability in fast-paced environments
Comfort working with adult and geriatric populations
