Contract Type: Travel Contract

Shift Type: Rotating 12-hour shifts, 7:00 AM - 7:30 PM and 7:00 PM - 7:30 AM

Hours per Week: 36

Candidate Pay Rate: $60 per hour

Roles & Responsibilities

Provide compassionate care to a diverse patient population including post-surgical, medical, and telemetry patients
Interpret cardiac telemetry and respond promptly to rhythm changes
Collaborate with the interdisciplinary team to deliver high-quality patient outcomes
Precept and mentor nursing students to support the next generation of caregivers
Float to Multi Care Unit, Pediatric unit, and West Campus as needed to support hospital-wide care
Manage stable CPAP and BiPAP patients while monitoring overall patient progress

Qualifications

Active RN license in Arizona or compact state
BLS and ACLS certifications required
Minimum 1 year of MedSurg experience with telemetry interpretation skills
Ability to pass dysrhythmia exam within two attempts
Willingness to care for both MST and PCU level patients

Knowledge & Skills

Strong telemetry interpretation and cardiac rhythm recognition
Comfortable precepting nursing students
Flexible and adaptable to floating across multiple units
Excellent communication and teamwork abilities
