Location: Bakersfield, California

Start Date: 06-10-2026

End Date: 09-09-2026

Contract Type: Contract

Shift Type: Monday-Friday, 8:00 AM - 4:30 PM with occasional 10:00 AM - 6:30 PM shifts, one weekend every third weekend with Monday and Friday off

Hours per Week: 40

Candidate Pay Rate: $59 per hour

Roles & Responsibilities

Deliver exceptional physical therapy care to 12+ patients daily across medical-surgical, ICU, and ER units
Develop personalized treatment plans for diverse patient populations including post-surgical, neurological, and medically complex cases
Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams to optimize patient outcomes and recovery journeys
Provide expert rehabilitation services in acute inpatient settings with focus on functional restoration
Mentor and guide patients through their healing process with compassion and clinical excellence

Qualifications

Current California Physical Therapist license required
BLS certification required
Acute Inpatient PT experience strongly preferred
Ability to work effectively across multiple hospital departments

Knowledge & Skills

Expertise in treating general medical and deconditioned patients
Experience with total knee and hip arthroplasty rehabilitation
Skilled in spinal surgery recovery protocols
Proficient in stroke rehabilitation and general orthopedic care
Strong clinical assessment and treatment planning abilities
