Contract Type: Travel Contract

Shift Type: Rotating 12-hour shifts, 7:00 AM - 7:00 PM and 7:00 PM - 7:00 AM, every other weekend

Hours per Week: 36

Candidate Pay Rate: $66 per hour

Roles & Responsibilities

Deliver compassionate, high-quality care to oncology and trauma patients across PCU and Med/Surg levels
Administer chemotherapy and manage complex medication drips including heparin and cardizem
Monitor vital signs, titrate drips when needed, and respond quickly to changes in patient condition
Collaborate with an amazing multidisciplinary team including PT/OT, case managers, and educators
Float to similar units while maintaining excellent patient outcomes and a positive attitude
Champion hourly rounding and patient experience initiatives that make a real difference

Qualifications

Active RN license in Nebraska or compact state
BLS, ACLS, and ONS/ONCC certifications required
Minimum 1 year of PCU or oncology nursing experience
First-time travelers welcome with strong clinical skills
EPIC experience within the last 6 months preferred
Valid driver's license required at time of submission

Knowledge & Skills

Chemotherapy administration and oncology nursing expertise
Ventilator management and hemodynamic monitoring
EPIC electronic medical record system
Alaris IV pumps and specialty lift equipment
Strong assessment and critical thinking abilities
Teamwork and genuine compassion for diverse patient populations
