Contract Type: Travel Contract

Shift Type: Rotating 12-hour shifts, 7:00 AM - 7:00 PM and 7:00 PM - 7:00 AM

Hours per Week: 36

Candidate Pay Rate: $57 per hour

Roles & Responsibilities

Provide compassionate, high-quality care to oncology and telemetry patients on a 32-bed unit
Monitor cardiac rhythms and interpret EKGs using Phillips telemetry equipment
Administer chemotherapy treatments and manage complex medication regimens
Collaborate with the interdisciplinary team including charge nurses and oncology resource RNs
Float to other MedSurg/Tele units as needed while maintaining excellent patient outcomes
Complete thorough assessments and maintain accurate documentation in Cerner EMR
Support patients and families through education and emotional care during treatment journeys

Qualifications

Active RN license in Arizona or compact state
BLS and ACLS certifications required
Chemo certification preferred
Cerner EMR experience
Strong EKG interpretation skills
Ability to pass pre-employment DYS exam and skills validation

Knowledge & Skills

Oncology and telemetry nursing expertise
Sterile field maintenance and central line care
Bipap and Cpap ventilator management
Patient ratios of 1:4 for focused, quality care
Team collaboration with PCT support on all shifts
