Roles & Responsibilities

Provide compassionate direct patient care, assisting with activities of daily living
Take and record vital signs accurately and report changes to the nursing team
Support safe patient transfers and mobility using proper body mechanics
Maintain clear, timely documentation in patient records and communicate observations
Assist with meal assistance, hygiene, and comfort needs to enhance patient dignity
Work closely with nurses and interdisciplinary team members to deliver coordinated care

Qualifications

Certified Nursing Assistant (CNA) credential required
Active/state CNA certification valid in Pennsylvania
Ability to pass background check and required health screenings/immunizations
Strong communication skills and a patient-centered attitude
Comfort with physical aspects of the role, including lifting and assisting patients

Education

High school diploma or equivalent preferred
Completion of an accredited CNA training program and active certification

Knowledge & Skills

Proficient with basic patient care tasks and ADLs
Knowledge of infection control and safety protocols
Reliable vital signs measurement and observational skills
Ability to follow care plans and report clinical changes
Teamwork, time management, and compassionate bedside manner
