Roles & Responsibilities

Provide compassionate hands-on care and assist residents with activities of daily living
Take and record vital signs accurately and report changes to the nursing team
Support safe patient transfers and mobility needs with proper technique
Maintain clear, timely documentation to keep the care team informed
Help create a warm, respectful environment that preserves resident dignity
Collaborate with nurses and other staff to deliver coordinated, person-centered care

Qualifications

Current CNA certification in Pennsylvania (required)
CPR/BLS certification preferred or willingness to obtain
Up-to-date immunizations and TB screening as required by the facility
Pass background check and drug screen per facility policy
Previous experience in long-term care or similar setting is a plus

Education

High school diploma or GED preferred
Completed approved CNA training program and current CNA certification

Knowledge & Skills

Strong interpersonal skills and a caring bedside manner
Basic clinical skills: vital signs, ADL assistance, safe lifting/transfers
Good observational skills and ability to report changes promptly
Team player who communicates clearly with nurses and support staff
Reliable, punctual, and committed to resident safety and comfort
