Roles & Responsibilities

Provide compassionate hands-on care to residents, assisting with activities of daily living like bathing, dressing, and mobility
Monitor and report changes in patients’ conditions to the nursing team promptly
Support safe transfers and use proper body mechanics to protect residents and yourself
Help maintain a clean, comfortable environment — making each resident’s day a little brighter
Document care accurately and timely in the resident record
Collaborate with nurses and interdisciplinary team members to deliver person-centered care

Qualifications

Current Certified Nursing Assistant (CNA) certification valid in Pennsylvania
High school diploma or equivalent preferred
Basic Life Support (BLS/CPR) certification preferred or willing to obtain
Strong interpersonal and communication skills with a caring bedside manner
Ability to pass required background checks and health screenings

Education

Completion of a state-approved CNA program or equivalent
High school diploma or GED preferred

Knowledge & Skills

Skilled in assisting with ADLs and providing respectful, dignified care
Knowledge of infection control and safe patient handling techniques
Comfortable with basic charting and documentation practices
Team player who communicates clearly with residents, families, and staff
Ability to follow care plans and prioritize resident safety
