Roles & Responsibilities

Provide compassionate, hands-on personal care to residents with dignity and respect
Assist with activities of daily living such as bathing, dressing, and mobility support
Perform routine vital sign checks and report changes in resident condition promptly
Document resident care activities accurately and communicate effectively with nursing staff
Support safe transfers and maintain a clean, safe environment for residents
Collaborate with the care team to follow care plans and improve resident outcomes

Qualifications

Current CNA certification or state-equivalent credential
Active certification and documentation that meets Pennsylvania facility requirements
Comfortable performing patient transfers and personal care tasks
Strong communication skills and ability to work as part of a care team
Background check and TB screening per facility policy

Education

High school diploma or equivalent preferred; CNA certification required

Knowledge & Skills

Foundational knowledge of patient care and activities of daily living
Ability to recognize and report changes in patient condition
Basic infection control and safety practices
Good documentation habits and attention to detail
Compassion, patience, and strong interpersonal skills
