Roles & Responsibilities

Provide compassionate, patient-centered direct care in accordance with facility policies
Assess and monitor patient status, documenting changes and escalating concerns
Administer medications and treatments safely and accurately
Collaborate with the interdisciplinary care team to develop and implement care plans
Educate patients and families on diagnoses, treatments, and discharge planning
Maintain accurate and timely electronic medical record documentation
Participate in unit-based quality improvement and safety initiatives

Qualifications

Current Registered Nurse (RN) license in Pennsylvania or a compact RN license
Basic Life Support (BLS) certification required
Advanced certifications such as ACLS or PALS preferred when applicable
Previous clinical experience in acute care or relevant specialty preferred
Strong communication skills and ability to work effectively in a team

Education

Associate Degree in Nursing (ADN) required or Bachelor of Science in Nursing (BSN) preferred

Knowledge & Skills

Clinical assessment and patient monitoring skills
Medication administration and IV therapy knowledge
Proficient documentation in electronic medical records
Patient and family education techniques
Time management and prioritization in a fast-paced setting
Collaborative teamwork and effective communication
