Roles & Responsibilities

• Provide compassionate, patient-centered nursing care following facility protocols
• Assess patient status, monitor vital signs, and document findings accurately
• Administer medications and treatments safely and in a timely manner
• Collaborate with physicians and interdisciplinary team members to coordinate care
• Educate patients and families on conditions, treatments, and discharge plans
• Respond to emergencies and escalate concerns promptly to ensure patient safety
• Maintain accurate and timely electronic health record documentation

Qualifications

• Current, active Registered Nurse license (eligible to work in Maryland or compact license accepted)
• BLS (Basic Life Support) certification required; ACLS and PALS preferred where applicable
• Prior experience in acute care or the specific clinical area is preferred
• Strong clinical assessment, critical thinking, and communication skills
• Proof of immunizations and background checks as required by the facility

Education

• Associate Degree in Nursing (ADN) or Bachelor of Science in Nursing (BSN) required; BSN preferred

Knowledge & Skills

• Knowledge of nursing best practices, medication administration, and patient assessment
• Comfortable using electronic health record systems and clinical documentation
• Ability to prioritize tasks in a fast-paced clinical environment
• Strong teamwork, time management, and patient education skills
• Infection control and safety-conscious approach to patient care
