Roles & Responsibilities

Provide compassionate, hands-on personal care to residents and patients to support dignity and comfort
Assist with activities of daily living such as bathing, dressing, toileting, and mobility
Monitor and document vital signs, intake/output, and behavioral observations accurately
Communicate changes in patient condition promptly to nursing staff and supervisors
Support safe transfers and ambulation, using proper body mechanics and assistive devices
Help create a warm, respectful environment that promotes resident independence and well-being

Qualifications

Current CNA certification (state required) — active or eligible for Pennsylvania credentialing
Demonstrated compassion and strong interpersonal skills when working with patients and families
Ability to pass background checks and required health screenings/immunizations
Comfort with basic clinical tasks and accurate documentation
Reliable, punctual, and ready to be part of a close-knit care team

Education

High school diploma or GED preferred
Completion of an accredited CNA training program and state certification

Knowledge & Skills

Hands-on patient care and assistance with activities of daily living
Basic vital signs measurement and observational reporting
Safe patient handling and transfer techniques
Clear communication with residents, families, and clinical staff
Time management and teamwork in a fast-paced care setting
